A Comprehensive FIDO System Includes…
16-Circuit Breaker Monitor: The Breaker monitor connects to any residential circuit breaker panel to provide monitoring for up to 16 circuits. Multiple Breaker Monitors (up to 64 total) may be installed for larger panels or additional breakers.
PLC Computer Adapter: The Breaker Monitor sends energy usage and generation data to the PLC Computer Adapter via Power Line Carrier communication that requires no additional wiring in the home. The computer Adapter links to a home computer via serial or USB connection.
FIDO Energy Advisor Software: EcoDog’s software then provides detailed views of the home’s whole-house and room-by-room energy use mapped to a layout of the home. It includes suggestions on how to reduce consumption based on individual usage patterns and local tiered electrical rates and provides remote notification of alerts via text or e-mail. FIDO Energy Advisor runs on any Intel-Compatible PC or Mac (in emulation) running Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7.
